Principal's Message

Welcome to the 2017-2018 school year! One of the first steps to
beginning a successful year is to remember this is a new year and with
the new school year comes the opportunity for a brand new beginning.   I
am honored and privileged to serve to the New Hope Academy Charter
School learning community as Principal. I have had the experience of
being a teacher and an administrator for over 20 years. I look forward to
the continued growth and development of our scholars throughout this
upcoming school year.

The vision for New Hope Academy is to strive towards excellence while
reaching for proficiency. Our mission is to create a school that provides
the highest quality of educational services and opportunities to all
students and personnel in a safe, caring, and healthy environment. We are
working towards creating an environment where scholars achievement is
attained through inclusive educational opportunities, enriched
curriculum, clear communication, active parental and community
support, and where there is a high degree of professionalism and respect
for diversity.

Student learning is evaluated regularly through classroom discussion,
written assignments, creative projects, focused examinations, as well as
district and state standardized assessments. I encourage our
parents/guardians to be active partners in the educational process, by
monitoring the continuous updates in our school website, quarterly
progress reports, report cards and parent/teacher conferences. Members
of our teaching staff, are always available to assist in making decisions
or providing information about programs and services available.
Additionally, all parents/guardians are invited to join our Parents’

Please feel free to contact our staff and administration with any questions
or concerns that you may have. Together, we can guide our young
learners in making healthy choices while supporting them in achieving
their dreams.
